Performance Evidence
Evidence is required to be collected that demonstrates a candidate’s competency in this unit. Evidence must be relevant to the roles within this sector’s work operations and satisfy all of the requirements of the performance criteria of this unit and include evidence that the candidate:
locates and applies applicable legislation, documentation, policies and proceduresimplements requirements, procedures and techniques for the safe, effective bore-field operations activities including:performing pre-start checksdiagnosing faults, identifying and addressing hazards selecting and using required tools and equipmentcontinuously inspect plant and pipelines to identify defects and potential problemsselecting and using lifting equipment (manual, cranes and loads)applying breakdown proceduresapplying bore / catchment/dam proceduresapplying detoxification procedurescomply with emergency procedurescomply with environmental and heritage procedurescomply with isolation proceduresworks effectively with others to undertake and complete the bore-field operations activities that meets all of the required outcomes including:using a range of communications techniques and equipment to convey information to othersmaintaining written and verbal reporting requirements and proceduresclarifying and confirming work requirementsdemonstrates completion of bore-field operations that safely, effectively and efficiently meets all of the required outcomes on more than one (1) occasion including:correctly operating and monitoring equipment includingplanning and preparing for bore-field activities, monitoring water, monitoring bore-field equipmenttaking and interpreting data from equipment indicator readings adjusting flow to maintain dam/tank levelsadjusting equipment to approved operating parameters to optimise performance, maintain efficient water treatment systems and to meet water quality targets
